Troop 187 Committee Meeting March 2011

In attendance: Michele Baginski MC, Jean Collaro AC, Sylivia Donalson MC, David Ingraham ASM, Joe Picardo SM, Ruth Schilitler MC, Kyle Pitite MC, Bev Gan CCCR

Summer Camp: Due date for cash is March 9th $300.00.  July 17th to the 23rd are the camp dates. Check to be made to TROOP 187 needed by this Wednesday March 9th

Backpacking Tent: Recon of tents at Campmor Ingraham, Panfile vote to purchase 3 tents and footprint approved by all that attended 100%

Klondike Sleds: To be rebuild for next years event.   (Kyle Pitite)

Fund Raising: ShopRite Voucher (per Family) Program in place. $200 cash cards sold per month per family or $60 check to Troop 187 one time check for the year. Info to be sent out to Troop.

Car Wash:  May 14th & June 4th location Holland Township Fire Company  light rain & Shine

Fund Raising: High Adventure for Troop 187 with another Troop. Voted Down by all attended.

Philmont: Info update found on the High Adventure page of the WEB page

Uniforms: work in progress.   Troop Nechief.  Russel Clark Sunshine Patch out of FL. Pending

Update Phone List: Bev Gan to send out new phone roster. Completed 3/8/11

Jeffery Waldron: To conduct training to the PLC’s Pending.

Cabin Camping: Joe P. POC March 11,12,13 Yards Creek

Oak Spring Camp: Ruth POC April 1,2,3 pitch you own tents, Ranger Mark help with service hours.

Cubloes Weekend: April 29 - May 1, 2011 (8 service hours) Russel Clark $12.00 plus shirt per Scout. Camp Winnebago

Frontier Trek: David I POC April 29 - May 1, 2011 Boy Scout Camporee Yards Creek Scout Reservation. Info to Follow. All Philmont Troops are expected attend this event 

Webelos Woods: Joe P. POC May 20-21-22 Yards Creek

NJSP BSA Camporee: In conflict with Webelos Woods (NJSP BSA Canceled) A.J. and Mr. Ingraham will attend.

Service Project Pending at the Holland Twsp School.

A Troop Donation was made for George’s mom for $100.00 to the leukemia and lymphoma society in memory of Linda erLandson.

Sat May 7th Paquara recondition dinner check BS web site. Independence Twsp. Fire House 24 cemetery road great meadows NJ  5pm until its over.

By April 10th vote for one of the Adult leaders to nominated for the recondition. Send the name to Bev Gan CCCR.
